Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Provide legal guidance and advice to the HR Director on employment-related matters, including hiring, termination, discrimination, and compliance
- Quickly assess HR-related issues and incidents, determine the appropriate course of action, and coordinate a timely response
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance
- Conduct research and analysis to support HR initiatives and decision-making
- Serve as a subject matter expert on employment law and HR best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex HR challenges
- Support the HR Director in managing sensitive and confidential HR matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR or legal role, preferably within a fast-paced, complex organization
- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
